Dr. Seuss Storytime

Wednesday, September 8, 2010

Central Library Children’s Department presents a special Dr. Seuss public storytime for preschool children. This program is offered in conjunction with a HoustonPBS partnership to support THE CAT IN THE HAT KNOWS A LOT ABOUT THAT!™, a show premiering on PBS Kids September 6. THE CAT IN THE HAT KNOWS A LOT ABOUT THAT!™ offers children a whimsical introduction to science, and sneak previews with more information can be found at their website http://pbskids.org/catinthehat/. Dr. Seuss inspired storytimes will be offered at two other county libraries. For more information, visit the library website at www.countylibrary.org.

Library 101-Library Skills Classes for Kids

Beginning in September, Central Library in Conroe is proud to announce a series of “Library 101” classes aimed at engaging school-age children in a better use of our library’s resources. Come discover the hidden gems right at your fingertips here at MCMLS! The first class on Library Basics will be offered on Tuesday, September 7 at 4:00 pm. The complete lineup of classes is listed below:
