Village Association, RDRC voting begins February 13, 2012
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (February 1, 2012) – The 2012 Residential Design Review Committees (RDRC) and Village Associations election process is underway for more than 100 community positions.
Election Day is Saturday, February 18, 2012 with convenience voting beginning on February 13, 2012.
All voting for the Residential Design Review Committees and Village Associations will take place at The Woodlands Township located at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd, The Woodlands, Texas, 77381.

The Woodlands Township to hold Residential Design Review Committee Meetings
THE WOODLANDS, TX (January 30, 2012) – The Residential Design Review Committees of The Woodlands Township will hold meetings for the Villages of Alden Bridge (6 p.m.), College Park (4:30 p.m.), Creekside Park (6 p.m.), Indian Springs (TWA) (5 p.m.) and Sterling Ridge (4 p.m.) on Thursday, February 2, 2012. The meetings will be held at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, The Woodlands, Texas 77381.

The Woodlands Township to hold Development Standards Committee Meeting
THE WOODLANDS, TX (January 27, 2012) – The Development Standards Committee of The Woodlands Township will hold a meeting on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, The Woodlands, Texas 77381.
In accordance with state law, notice of this meeting is posted at least 72 hours in advance. This posting occurs at the Courthouses of Montgomery and Harris Counties, inside the boundaries of the Township at its office building, and on their Web site.

Township honors Volunteers; holds Town Hall meeting
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (January 26, 2012) –The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a Special Volunteer Recognition and Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, at 7 p.m.
About 100 people came to see the volunteer recognition, including the four Volunteers of the Year, hear the presentation on the 2011 Township annual report with 2012 projections and had open public comment available.

City of Conroe updates community on Thomas Avenue construction
Effective immediately, the Conroe Parks & Recreation Department advises Thomas Avenue is now open to access Candy Cane Park, the Aquatic Center, Activity Center, The Friendship Center and the C.K. Ray Recreation Center. In addition, the new parking lot located between the C.K. Ray Recreation Center and the Activity Center is now open.
