Montgomery County Pct 1 Deputies make arrests for Recovery Stolen Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felon in Possession Firearms

On January 26th, Deputies with the Pct. 1 Constables Office were working in the area of Walnut Cove, due to the proactive response lead by Constable Don Chumley in response to the recent rise in burglaries and thefts in the area.

The Constable had developed many leads from the community and had been told the suspects were using 4 wheelers as transportation. He had several Deputies working the area in search of the suspects and warning the citizens to be aware of the thefts and to report any suspicious activity.

On Sunday, January 22, 2012, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a dispatched call in the High Meadow Ranch Subdivision located in West Montgomery County, regarding a juvenile victim being confronted by a white male (suspect).

The victim was in the back yard of the residence, when a white male approached with a gun. The victim told investigators that the suspect grabbed the victim by the arm and kept the victim from running away. The suspect sexually assaulted the victim before running away through an adjoining wooded area.

Under-Construction Mansion burns overnight on Lamerie Way in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, Tx - A unoccupied under-construction mansion on Lamerie Way was the scene of a 2-alarm fire overnight.
Over a million gallons of water were used to extinguish the blaze.
Investigators believe the cause of the fire is "suspicious".

MCSO asks for help in identifying suspect in Woodlands Parkway Wal-Mart thefts

THE WOODLANDS, Tx - On 01/07/12 deputies met Wal-Mart security at the 10001 Woodlands Parkway store in reference to a Theft and Criminal Mischief. The suspect used a crowbar to damage a video game display case and the garden center fire exit doors. The suspect is believed to have stolen two Dyson vacuum cleaners valued at nearly $600. It is believed that the same suspect could be involved in other theft at the same location but on different days.

Infant killed by dog on Medina Circle in West Montgomery County

Saturday at just before 8 p.m., Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 27000 block of Medina Circle in far West Montgomery County involving the death of a one year-old child.

When deputies arrived and entered the home they found that a one year old male child had been brutally mauled to death by the family’s pit bull. As the deputy tried to control the dog the dog turned on the deputy and lunged at him. The deputy shot the dog inside the home.
